Decent Work and Social Justice

The present project aims to promote decent work and social justice in Brazil and developing countries of the Global South through Trilateral South-South Cooperation and social dialogue among the ILO's tripartite constituents. The project's strategies include identifying strategic international alliances and partnerships that Brazil participates in and that need to be strengthened through South-South cooperation, which can generate results and products that contribute to the implementation of the four (4) pillars of the Social Justice for the Global South program: Eradication of child labor and forced labor; Occupational safety and health and labor inspection; Gender, race, generational equity, and promotion of equality in the world of work; and Employment and social protection. Additionally, the project aims to strengthen the perspective of mutual benefits of South-South cooperation by identifying Brazilian initiatives that can be enhanced through exchanges with other developing countries and emphasizing the promotion of social dialogue, including strengthening tripartism and labor relations in the implementation of relevant national and international initiatives.
