Accelerating Decent Jobs and Social Protection in Nepal
The project supports Nepal to develop a catalytic approach to unlock a structural transformation towards a more productive, inclusive, and green economy, that provides equitable access to decent employment opportunities and social protection for all. It galvanizes political and financial support to improve policy coherence, address gender barriers, identify actions with high potential to create jobs and extend social protection, particularly for women, youth and marginalized and vulnerable groups, backed by investment plans that leverage public, private, domestic, and international financing. The end result of this is to contribute in creating more decent jobs, boosting sustainable and inclusive economic growth, and extending social protection to all.
