Decent Jobs and Social Protection Expansion for Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Growth in Cambodia.
This Joint Programme (JP) aims to support Cambodia's roadmap for accelerating jobs and social protection by building national capacity for strategic foresight, identifying future growth sources that generate income and jobs, and fostering integrated policies for labor market flexibility, business resilience, and competitiveness. It focuses on improving social protection systems, creating decent jobs, and ensuring inclusion, especially for those unlikely to find decent employment in the short-to-medium term. The JP follows a cross-sectoral approach, aligning with government priorities, enhancing employability, expanding social protection, and supporting business growth. With a focus on evidence-based interventions, the JP integrates various SDG transitions and leverages partnerships for high-impact, multilateral cooperation, aiming to benefit 2.3 million people, including those in extreme poverty. Its value exceeds $4 million, with $60 million in leveraged investments.
