Job-rich early recovery support programme
The main objective of this project is to combine the approaches to food security and livelihood support. This is be done initially through the employment-intensive restoration of resilient agricultural assets and practices through rehabilitating and maintenance training on irrigation canals/systems, feeder roads, and market structures in the Aleppo Governorate. In other words, the approach aims to combine the efforts for restoring access to essential services and the rehabilitation of green infrastructures with an immediate decent job creation scheme with the longer-term objective of skills development and employability enhancement as well as improvement of working conditions.
