Supporting the rolling out of the Global Coalition for Social Justice

The project is connected to the Philippines’ voluntary contribution in support of the Global Coalition for Social Justice. The Government of the Philippines has been a strong and active participant in the Coalition since joining in December 2023, including as a member of its Coordinating Group and through sustained mobilization at the highest political level. Building on this strong engagement, the contribution of USD 100,000 helps operationalize the Philippines’ commitment to the Coalition’s agenda, in particular its key interventions on living wages, just transition and the transition to formality, and to strengthen knowledge exchange and advocacy efforts through targeted technical assistance. The project plan is prepared by the Secretariat of the Global Coalition for Social Justice for the Government of the Philippines. The funds are used for activities that support the Coalition’s work programme and advance shared priorities over the project period.
