Alliance 8.7 - Joining forces globally to end forced labour, modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labour
Alliance 8.7 is a global multi-stakeholder partnership dedicated to taking immediate and effective action to eradicate forced labour, modern slavery, human trafficking, and child labour, as set out in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Target 8.7. The Alliance brings together a broad coalition of actors, including a Global Coordinating Group representing the multi-stakeholder community of the Alliance; more than 35 Pathfinder Countries and candidate countries; over 400 partner organizations; thematic Action Groups on Supply Chains, Agriculture and Migration; and recognized business networks addressing child labour and forced labour. By contributing to this Multi-Partner Programme development partners of all sizes and types advance the Alliance’s three strategic priorities:Driving high-level advocacy to maintain momentum towards SDG Target 8.7; Supporting Pathfinder Countries in the development, implementation and monitoring of inclusive national SDG 8.7 Roadmaps; Ensuring operational efficiency and long-term sustainability through strong governance, strategic communication and diversified resource mobilization.
