Advancing Policy Coherence on Labour Rights: support to the Labour Rights Advisory Board under the IPEF Supply Chain Agreement
The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) and its Supply Chain Agreement promote resilient, sustainable, and inclusive supply chains across the Indo-Pacific, recognising that strong labour rights are essential to competitiveness and shared prosperity. Under Article 8 of the Agreement, and in consultation with the ILO, members commit to advancing labour rights in supply chains and strengthening cooperation and capacity building. With suppot from the Government of Australia, the project supports the delivery of voluntary quarterly showcases in targeted IPEF countries to strengthen the evidence base for policy dialogue and enhance technical collaboration, particularly in ODA-eligible member economies.
