Articles 1 and 2 of the Convention. Measures to combat unemployment. The Government indicates in its report that the Youth Employment National Action Plan 2010–15, formulated in collaboration with the ILO, aimed to provide 3 million job opportunities for youth during the years of the plan at a rate of 620,000 job opportunities per year. It further indicates that a National Employment Bulletin was published which includes available job opportunities at the national and international level. Employment symposia were held periodically with both employers and jobseekers. The Committee notes the Government’s indication that the unemployment rate fell in 2014 compared to previous years. It notes however that no statistics were provided in this regard. The Committee requests the Government to provide detailed statistics relating to trends in unemployment and information on the impact of the measures adopted to combat unemployment. Referring to its 2010 General Survey concerning employment instruments, the Committee invites the Government and the social partners to contemplate ratifying more recent instruments regarding the issues covered by the Convention, that is, the Employment Policy Convention, 1964 (No. 122), and the Private Employment Agencies Convention, 1997 (No. 181).
