Effect given to the recommendations of the Committee and the Governing Body

1. 50. The Committee last examined this case at its meeting in June 2005, and on that occasion requested the Government to communicate the text of the final ruling given concerning the dismissal of the trade union official Mr. Yapur Ruiz and to take all measures in its power to ensure that he was reinstated until such time as a decision was given on the latest legal action after the successive judicial decisions ordering his reinstatement [see 337th Report, paras. 33-37].
2. 51. In a communication dated 15 September 2005, the Government states that Mr. Yapur Ruiz has been reinstated, in accordance with the judicial ruling.
3. 52. The Committee notes this information with interest.
