Report of the Committee set up to examine the representation alleging non-observance by Ecuador of the Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention, 1989 (No. 169)

Decision

1. In the light of the conclusions and recommendations set out in the report of the Committee contained in document GB.350/INS/17/5, the Governing Body:
   • (a) approved the report of the Committee and, in particular, the conclusions formulated by the Committee in paragraphs 49, 50, 57, 58, 61, 63, 64, 66 and 68;
   • (b) requested the Government of Ecuador to provide the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations with information on the matters addressed in the report and in the Committee’s conclusions;
   • (c) decided to publish the report and to close the representation procedure.
