Comments and Observations: | Govt. of Bahamas (19 October 2020) We have received information that the P & I club, American Steamship, has intervened last week. The welfare of the crew is taken care of and they are dealing with the wages and repatriation. The owners are reportedly bankrupt.
Non-governmental Organization (23 October 2020) From ISWAN The P&I club and flag state have activated financial liability clause under MLC. Diesel and food has been supplied on board. Representation shall be made in court to allow all seafarers or at least those not required to repatriate home since vessel is now arrested.
Non-governmental Organization (1 December 2020) From ISWAN Vessel has been sold to new owner and all crew have been signed off. Their 75% wages has been cleared and remaining shall be hopefully cleared soon.
Non-governmental Organization (15 January 2021) From ISWAN The crew have returned home and their pending dues have been settled. The case is now resolved.
