The vessel Marlene Express (ex Sara Express) has proven that was not abandoned and currently operating in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The crewmembers informed to the Panama Maritime Authority that the shipowner had paid the owed wages, reason why they agreed to continue working on board. The flag inspectors maintain direct communication with the crewmembers in case they require their intervention.
