1. Vessel Information:
- Vessel Name: TONG MAO 6
- Vessel Type: General Cargo Ship
- Flag State: China
- IMO Number: 9985916

2. Crew Situation Verification:
Immediate verification has been made to verify the relevant situation. The relevant situation is as follows:
After investigation, there is no case of abandonment of crew members by the shipowner Zhejiang Yonghai Marine Transportation Co.

On February 28th, 2024, during the unloading of MV TONG MAO 6 berthing at Kunsan Port in the Republic of Korea, a local commodity inspector accidentally fell into the sea from a movable ladder placed on the wharf and was killed.

Subsequently, two officers on duty at the entrance of the staircase, accepted the criminal investigation at the Kunsan Coast Guard Department and were told that the three were not allowed to leave the Republic of Korea as suspects until the final verdict is made by the judicial authorities of the Republic of Korea.

At present, the three crew members have been properly accommodated at Alice Hotel in Kunsan, with food and accommodation in accordance with normal standards. The company has paid the relevant expenses to the shipping agent who arranged the hotel on behalf of the company. The relevant agency fee bill was evidenced by the shipping company's payment voucher.

Secondly, the company has arranged for experienced Korean lawyers to assist the crew members in the whole process of accepting the investigation by the marine police and the subsequent handling of the case, in order to strive for the early repatriation of the three crew members back to their home country. The relevant lawyers’fee bill was evidenced by the shipping company's payment voucher.

Thirdly, the company has guaranteed to pay the criminal fines imposed by the Korean judicial authorities for the three crew members. On the afternoon of April 25th, 2024, the shipping company arranged the full payment of the wages of the three crew members during the working period of MV TONG MAO 6 to their designated bank accounts, and the wages have been fully settled during the contract period.

The above information is for your reference.
