Comments and Observations: | ITF (17 January 2022) The owner of this vessel also owns the PSD 104 which is currently also abandoned in Durban.
ITF (10 February 2022) Vessel has been arrested by the crew with legal assistance from the ITF. Working with the local Mission to Seafarers and SAMSA the ITF has provided funds for provisions and a generator to provide electricity. Between us we are also arranging for the seafarers to be vaccinated. The owner continues to try and coerce the crew into accepting less than they are entitled to. The owner of this vessel also owns the PSD 104 which is also abandoned in Durban.
ITF (22 March 2022) The vessel remains arrested, and the Iranian owner continues to refuse to pay the costs of the arrest, port dues and the reimbursement of the food, water and fuel provided by the ITF. The vessel is currently unmanned.
The two crew on board have now been repatriated.
The Iranian owner also owns the PSD 104, also in Durban and abandoned.
ITF (6 January 2023) All the crew received outstanding wages. The arrest has been lifted.
