Comments and Observations: | ITF (21 February 2022) One of the seafarers has outstanding wages for 12 months and seeks to be repatriated as he on 19 January 2022 completed one year on board. The seafarer declares and states that he has paid $500 to join the ship and that the employer has not arranged the payment of his outstanding wages while the owner wants him to remain on board, otherwise, they will deduct to the seafarer costs of repatriation $250. Insurer: Unknown. Mr. Osaman Rashed, who is as a crew member of the said ship, has received his due wages and is repatriated.
