- The Bangladesh Labour Act provides basis for arbitration.
Establishing an independent arbitration cell is not under the preview of Bangladesh Labour Act. ILO will continue to discuss with the stakeholders if this can be done under separate Statutory Regulatory Ordinance (SRO).
Discussions will also be undertaken with government on the funding of arbitration services.
