- comments:
- The project was undertaken to support the ongoing peace process, in which Mon IDP's ethnic communities' aspirations for a better future remain overshadowed by decades-long conflicts. As a result long-term commitment were needed to enhance capacity-building and institutional strengthening which would take time. Therefore, it is required to continue support in the ceasefire areas of Mon state and other neighbouring Karen state to engage with major actors such as Karen National Union (KNU) of the peace process in the same areas other than the government.
- action_plan:
- Agreed but this requires longer-term ILO (or external donor) commitment and more substantial funding.

- The ILO should seek ongoing funding for its LRB infrastructure and local economic development work. Priorities for future funding should include:
• Activities to support beneficiaries to link more lucratively to markets such as TVET training in key sectors, SME training and value chain development. This could be a continuation in the Bee Rae are as these activities were not extensively explored during the RBSA project as well as expanding into other areas.
• Activities to support income generation for women (although women are involved in farming also) such as soap making and sewing
• Expanding the LRB approach to other areas in Mon State and neighbouring states such as Karen State
