- comments:
- Although the focus on short term employment remains in Phase VI, early indications from KfW indicate a strong interest in introducing a green works component, though the size of infrastructure works cannot be much bigger/more than currently implemented in Phase IV and V Cost sharing of asset construction between the project and the implementing partners is being considered and discussed - KfW's main objective remains short term jobs
- action_plan:
- A proposal for slightly higher asset creation and green works are included in the concept and planning for Phase VI. In line with ILO's focus on Just Transition towards environmentally sustainable economies and
societies and at the donor's request, Phase VI asset creation/maintenance will include green jobs creation through green works.

- The Phase VI should focus on asset creation and infrastructure enhancements in line with the strategic intent of Employment Intensive Infrastructure Programme while reducing the focus on CfW in a staged and coordinated manner in close consultation with municipal authorities.
