At the recent Project Steering Board meeting, key stakeholders voiced their endorsement of the recommendation. Subsequently, the project team will engage a consultant to conduct comprehensive interviews with partnerships in order to devise potential sustainability models for LEPs. This initiative aims to result in the formulation of a comprehensive Sustainability Strategy proposal. Anticipatedly, the PSB will ratify the Strategy by the end of the year.

Develop the sustainability strategy for the LEP II project to serve as reference framework document and have it adopted by the PSB. It could also serve as a guidance paper for actively working on sustainability together with LEPs partners. It is recommended to formally adopt this Strategy and to present the document, together with the status of sustainability achieved, at the PSB and PAB meetings as well as final project event. Besides contributing to the justification of results, the Sustainability Strategy might also serve for informing donors and seeking support for possible future activities resulting from the LEP II project.
