- comments:
- The direct engagement of ILO’s technical backstopping units is sought in TOR’s preparations, review od progress reports throughout implementation, and ad hoc consultations to ensure alignment with other interventions by the ILO and maximize results.
- action_plan:
- The ILO agrees that there is room for improvement with regards to strengthening coordination and engagement with strategic stakeholders and employer representatives. The ILO’s project team will build on the partnerships and collaborations made with previous employer representatives to maintain open communication channels and allow for exchange of inputs throughout the project cycle, starting with preliminary discussions during project design stages to assess interest in engagement and plan interventions of relevance.

- 7. Enhance project coordination with strategic stakeholders, including employer representatives and ILO's technical backstopping units
Project management is recommended to better engage with strategic stakeholders since the design stage of a project and all through implementation. In specific, project management should enhance its coordination with employer representatives, as well as with ILO's technical backstopping units. Strategic coordination with these stakeholder is expected to add value to project results, and enhance potential synergies.
