- Ways to encourage partnerships with organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) will be part of the discussions to draft the new ILO Disability Inclusion Strategy (2024-2027), in which inclusion of the Regional Directors will be essential. In support of this process, the Office will roll out its new training material on consultation with OPDs; this draws on ILO good practices, such as the recent memorandum of understanding (MOU) between ILO-Suva and the Pacific Disability Alliance. The Office also intends to develop model MOUs that ILO field offices can tailor to their specific context.
