comments:
As the ILO’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) on Disability Inclusion is an independent entity, the Office has consulted the ERG members, and the following is their response to this recommendation: • "The ILO ERG on Disability Inclusion continues to engage with other ERGs across the UN system, on common and specific topics. In 2023, this included planning a joint event to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities." • "Taking into account capacity constraints, the ERG on Disability Inclusion will continue to assess accelerating growth and involvement, including through the creation of regional sub-groups. HRD/TALENT’s support of development opportunities (such as recent training by 'PurpleSpace', a professional development hub for disability network leaders) assists in these endeavours."

title:
13. To strengthen the ERG on Disability Inclusion further: • Continue to engage with other UN entities such as UNICEF, who have longer established ERGs, to understand best practices, common challenges, and how to overcome these and plan joint initiatives. • As the ERG expands, consider establishing regional groupings and ensure meetings and activities are organised in a manner that accounts for different time-zones.
