    Statistics from the registers are used to obtain unemployment rates.

    The source of data on employed persons who are part of the denominator of the unemployment rates is the register-based labour force statistics (RAS statistics)).

    Definition of employed persons for this purpose:

    Employed persons are either employees, self-employed or assisting spouses.
