A work stoppage of 24, 48 or 72 hours.

An indefinite work stoppage, go-slow or hunger strike.

These definitions come from the Ley General del Trabajo.

The basic unit of measurement used to record a strike or lockout is the case of dispute or the economic unit.

Economic units involved

The economic unit is the establishment, firm, enterprise or local workplace.

Duration

The duration is measured in calendar days.

Time not worked

Total time not worked is measured in workdays as the sum of the accumulated days of stoppage. Overtime is not taken into consideration.
