The Republic of Croatia has declared 28 April its National Day for Occupational Safety and Health. The terms of the declaration commit the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship to organizing expert meetings every year to review the occupational safety and health system in Croatia and to develop guidelines for its improvement. The establishment of this National Day was an initiative of the Union of Autonomous Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH/UATUC).
