Legislation
The ILO's most important contribution to the world's legislation on occupational safety and health (OSH) is the set of standards consisting of Conventions and Recommendations and a collection of Codes of Practice. Click here for an overview of ILO Standards on OSH.
As an innovation in our Internet policy, we are beginning to provide on-line the full text of Codes of Practice free of charge. Printed versions can still be acquired from ILO Publications.
Bibliographic information on national OSH legislation is part of our CISDOC database, available on a subscription basis. As a free sample, we are presenting here the subset of CISDOC records covering laws and derived regulations, extended with links to the full text on national sites where we could identify the sources.
The ILO's database of bibliographic information on national laws, NATLEX, offers good coverage of OSH-related legislation. Full text of the referred items is available at the ILO Library.
