The Labour Legislation Guidelines (Guidelines) project was developed by the former Infocus Programme on Social Dialogue, Labour Law and Labour Administration in co-operation with the InFocus Programme on Promoting the Declaration and the InFocus Programme on Child Labour of the ILO. The present version of the Guidelines is intended to promote the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work adopted by the ILO Conference at its 86th Session, Geneva, June 1998. It includes national labour law texts in the field covered by the eight ILO fundamental Conventions, including:
The text of the Guidelines consists of inputs made by various contributors, including Patric Bashand, Adelle Blackett, Geoff Davenport, Vladislav Egorov, Colin Fenwick, Jane Hodges and Sarah Noetzli. Mark Johnson edited the English version of the Guidelines. This project is supervised and co-ordinated by Angelika Muller, Labour Law Officer. |
