In Pakistan, the approach to youth changes depending on the province. Instead of a National Policy, Strategy, Laws or Plans, there are Provincial Policies and laws. At the National level, the Government is running Kamyab Jawan Program. National goals to promote youth employment include: - To promote formal and non-formal education, technical and vocational skills, digital skills, financial inclusion, social entrepreneurship and micro-business support for employment and economic empowerment of youth. - Various technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes for skill development of youth. - The Kamyab Jawaan programme envisages provisions of interest free/concessional loans to the youth. - Computation of National Youth Development Index for evidence based policy decisions. Other goals are described in the Annual Plan 2021-22.
