• “Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State”: This is the overarching national programme for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for the period 2022–2052. • The Presidential Programme for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan (2022–2028) also sets priorities that include youth employment as a key area. • Legal Framework: Article 7 of the Law of Turkmenistan “On Employment of the Population” recognises young specialists seeking employment for the first time as a group entitled to state support. In January 2016, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection approved regulations establishing a quota system: up to 5% of positions in enterprises must be reserved for specific groups, including young specialists.Countries with national goals for youth employment
