Youth are a target group in Türkiye’s employment policy framework. The National Youth Employment Strategy, which has been implemented and completed, was entirely focused on promoting youth employment through dedicated targets and measures. In addition, youth employment is addressed within the broader scope of the National Employment Strategy, particularly under the headings of “increasing the employment of groups requiring special policies” and “developing inclusive employment.” These sections outline both current and planned policies aimed at improving labour market outcomes for young people.

2025: Within the scope of all implemented policies, collaborations and coordination activities are carried out with all stakeholders with the understanding of social dialogue in order to increase youth employment. ____ 2023: During the preparation process of the strategy, meetings were held with the participation of representatives of relevant public institutions and organizations, professional organizations, social partners, non-governmental organizations, universities, private sector and international organizations in order to receive opinions, suggestions and evaluations for the measures included in the action plans. _______- 2022: All studies have been carried out with participation of different stakeholders (Ministries, public institutions, employer-employee confederations, universities and NGOs).

2025: Work is carried out with UNICEF on behalf of young people and children. 2023: Ministry of Labour and Social Security carries out joint projects with international organizations in order to promote youth employment. "Technical Assistance for Promoting Decent Future of Work Approach with a Focus of Gender Equality Project" with the European Union and "Young Women Building Their Future Project" with UNDP are two important examples of these projects.
