It can be difficult to ascertain the impact of social media campaigns. While the level of engagement can be quantified its not clear whether or how this leads to the desired behaviour change

By identifying specific audiences that are targeted and using strategies to specifically target them and influence them this may be more effective at influencing behaviour.
