- This has been recognized by all parties consulted and comes out as one of the major emerging impacts of the project. The emerging impact of activities undertaken until the time of this mid-term evaluation consists of: a) A better understanding of issues and challenges related to labour migration by all parties involved; b) Clear awareness raising about the need to better manage labour migration; c) Knowledge sharing among the different parties involved (all parties better understand the necessity to consult with each other); d) The creation of networking opportunities (stakeholders directly or indirectly concerned with migration issues started consulting more frequently with each other); and e) A stronger involvement of civil society in policy discussions through their participation in the AFML meetings.
