- challenges:
- The examples of Honduras and Senegal provide a contrast in sustainability. In Honduras remote support continued during 2015 and there is evidence that strong sustainability has been developed in certain sectors. In Senegal the project faced more challenges of sustainability, where successful work had been carried out on developing workplace policies but partners needed support in implementing them for 1-2 years to build their capacity to operate the policies independently.

- description:
- Short projects make it very difficult to build sustainability if there is not ILO resources to support the constituent partners after the project has finished.
- administrative_issues:
- Resources are needed to ensure that support can be continued by ILO.
