- In spite of signed Memorandum of understanding with GEFONT, the General trade union of workers in textile, garment and clothing industry (JTGCU) in Jordan has not reported on work on protection of migrants from Nepal.

- To ensure success the direct service agreement with the trade unions is one of the important conditions for protection of migrant men and women.

- From the beginning of the implementation agreement under FAIR II, the Nepali trade union GEFONT supported thousands of migrant workers resolve cases through migrant desks: 4,125 workers were supported in Malaysia (2905M, 1220W); 1,004 workers were supported in Qatar (685 M, 319W) and 258 individuals were supported in Jordan (86W and 172M). The partnership was established with Philippines-based trade union SENTRO which supported its affiliate in Hong Kong, the Progressive Labour Union of Domestic Workers (PLU). PLU handled 13 court cases of 22 women workers, 182 new members (all women) were recruited by PLU and SENTRO and 240 Filipino domestic workers (all women) in Hong Kong have undergone PLU Basic Orientation Seminar.
