- The total of 1,136 persons (M556, F580) joined the cooperatives as new members from the three areas. These persons together with their respective families have been displaced for about 25 years. If linked with communities from the South, there is a possibility for sharing of experiences, which can lead to an attitudinal change in both communities.

- Economic empowerment without proper trust building between different communities may lead to competition. Peace cannot be built by supporting one group.
- success:
- The target communities have immense potential to create empathy in different communities, if there are safe spaces for sharing their experiences, and their resilience.
- context:
- The regions selected for support under outcome 1 is largely focused on resettling communities in the North who come from a similar ethno-religious background. Outcome 2 focuses on language issues at a national level. These two have no connection or overlap. Unless special attention is paid to create links with the South and communities from different ethno religious background, economic empowerment may not lead to peacebuilding and trust building. It may lead to economic stability of resettling communities.
