The interlinking nature of the three project objectives, whereby direct support services achieve an immediate direct impact, but more importantly provide reference cases possibly feeding into policy discussions and leading to an improvement of the working conditions of migrant workers. The information collected from the project’s support services feeds into the development of policy, legislation and capacity building tools. Trade unions in particular have also been able to develop their understanding and first-hand experience on issues related to the protection of migrant workers and engage in informed dialogue with government and employers on policy issues.
