This model has several advantages that contribute to the sustainability, relevance, and effectiveness of development initiatives, including enhanced ownership and commitment, alignment with local needs, and increased empowerment and accountability & transparency among beneficiaries. Additionally, it promotes long-term sustainability by reducing dependence on external funding.
