description:
KAB has proved to be also effectively used for unemployed people (start-ups) as well as for existing micro businesses, though it was originally designed to be integrated in the curriculum of VTCs. KAB programme was designed to be integrated in the curriculum of the VTCs, with the purpose to link skills development to entrepreneurial development. In view of the lack of government funding, several KAB courses were provided separately from the technical learning and for other target groups than students. Evidence reveals that KAB can be also effectively used for unemployed people (start-ups) as well as for existing micro businesses. The good practice is related to Outcome 4 of the project: “Entrepreneurship culture fostered among young Iraqi women and men enrolled in the governmental Vocational Training Centres and schools in KR-I”.
