- SAMM's Sustainability and Exit Strategy Plan was formulated and discussed with partner RECs and SADC Member States to identify the possibility to continue effectively implementing the following policy frameworks:
a) SADC Labour Migration Policy Framework and its Labour Migration Action Plan (2022-2025).
b) SADC Employment and Labour Policy Framework (2020-2030);
c) SADC Guidelines on Portability of Social Security Benefits (2019);
d) SADC Regional Qualifications Framework; and,
e) COMESA Protocol on Free Movement of Persons, Labour, Services, the Right of Establishment and Residence;
a) SADC’s Regional Migration Policy Framework;
b) SADC Regional Policy Framework on the Management of Asylum Seekers and Refugees and its Action Plan;
c) SADC Regional Strategic Plan on Combating Illegal Migration, Smuggling of Migrants and Trafficking in Persons (2015);
d) International Framework for Action to Implement the Trafficking in Persons Protocol; and,
e) COMESA Protocol on the Gradual Relaxation and Eventual Elimination of Visa Requirements.

- The project should work with individual PUNOs and the Member States to develop a sustainability plan. The plan should be adopted by PUNOs, Member States and regional coordination bodies focusing on sustaining technical support for the Member States in the final stage of ratification of the legal instruments developed. The PUNOs should also commit to providing technical assistance in capacity building for continuing the implementation of the approved/ratified policy and legal framework, beyond the project end date.
