- The approved no-cost extension included a reallocation of resources to increase staff capacity both at HQ in Geneva and in the pilot countries. The additional staffing in Geneva will free up resources for learning, monitoring and evaluation as recommended in the mid-term evaluation. In particular, a Geneva-based Junior Project Officer (50%) will be recruited for a 12 month period. In the pilot countries: a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (100%) will be hired in Nepal to strengthen the monitoring and reporting of the livelihood component; a National Technical Officer (50%) and a Finance and Administrative Officer (4 months) will be recruited in Mauritania. The project will also contribute to 50% of a Finance and Administrative Officer position in the ILO Abidjan office to facilitate the project's deliver in Niger.
