comments:
A milestone has been achieved. The project team has finally signed a Cooperation Protocol with the NCW in December 2018. This Protocol comes as a result of a series of coordination meetings held with the NCW in Egypt since the start of the second phase of the project in April 2018. The Protocol highlights the developmental objective of the project to improve women’s access to, and participation in, the labour market through the achievement of the project’s 3 outcomes, particularly Outcome 2. It spells out collaboration mechanisms and responsibilities between the two partners.

title:
The project team in Egypt is advised to build stronger and more formal relationship with NCW to ensure consistency with national approaches during the life of the project. This is not likely to require additional resources just a reformulation of existing work plans.
