- Make an even greater effort to identify ways to incorporate the relevant project initiatives into the existing working structures and modalities of the Ministry and the Bureau in order to enhance ownership further. Efforts have been focused in particular on National Action Plans (NAP) which are important, but these efforts need to be expanded to the inclusion of selected activities (including e.g. policy implementation, capacity building and research) in the yearly ministerial financial budgets. In addition, develop a proper exit strategy for the LM project in case donor funding might end in 2020. Two elements are particularly important: (1) Continue, update and expand the training of SLBFE staff, staff of Provincial Centres and FEDO’s, and (2) Support the drive to digitalize data for Foreign Employment through E-governance.
