- Garment industries in different countries have developed different wage practices, such as, piece-rates, skill-level wage rates, monthly rates, as well as different linkages with statutory minimum wage. Work on wage will need to address these different experiences, and the capacity of the local industry, and the strategic orientation of industry's development.
