Considering the potential role of ILO databases for policy making, the ILO should hold a high-level discussion on how ILO databases could be institutionalised and funding secured beyond the fluctuating capacities of the technical units. Discussions should include whether and how a single labour law database could be created and maintained, allowing thematic searches.
