comments:
KfW is very interested to significatly increase the VT component of the project in Phase VI. A careful analysis by the project should be done to ensure that we are able to find enough interested applicants and that it would open up employment opportunities. KfW agree with a soft target of 25% ex-workers, and with the post-employment support being open to workers from previous phases. There is strong KfW interest in entrepreneurship training, and particularly for female workers
action_plan:
The proposal for Phase VI proposes an inception period of to undergo, among others, a training needs analysis. After the TNA, the VT courses offered will be based on real labour market needs in the country and those which can offer employment opportunities. The concept note also proposes to train 20-50% of all ex workers (an increase from the current 5%).

title:
In light of a focus towards more longer-term employment, the programme should explore further opportunities to support more in-depth vocational training and job placement strategies with external training service providers. This work should be underpinned by a detailed TNA completed in the first six-months of Phase VI
