comments:
Implementing partners have not agreed yet on the relevance to implement this recommendation. The implementing partners would need to assess if engagement with African law institutes on the revision of legal frameworks will be beneficial. The current engagement with the Pan African Parliament (PAP) on the same subject have not yield expected results. Under JLMP priority I, an assessment of legal frameworks related to labour migration in Africa and selected Member States – in total 14 ( on the basis of the responses to ILO global questionnaire adapted to LM and sent to all MS with high level of responsiveness from MSs) is ongoing. The validation will take place in December 2021, and conclusions would feed into the design of JLMP II
