The issue of civil society in the process is sensitive in Egypt and needs to work in full transparency with the government. This is also an issue which should be discussed with IOM and GIZ.

Be more mindful of facilitated migration and involve non-governmental stakeholders and civil society in providing information to migrants about destination countries, visa procedures, skills recognition, human rights and social protection. Explore new possibilities offered by the post-COVID context, to ensure more integration of remote working into national labour market development strategies.
