- In alignment with the recommendation, the LAWC cluster (comprising of diverse work streams) Labour Law and ILS, Dispute Resolution, Trade Union Registration, Labour Inspection, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Safety, Sustainable and Competitive enterprises, and Child Labour has already completed the formulation of a cohesive joint LAWC activity workplan. This workplan is the outcome of rigorous discussions and meetings involving the senior management team, concerned project managers, and program officers to sidestep any potential duplication of efforts. This structured approach is integral to fostering harmonious contributions from every work stream and ensuring the efficient realization of our collective objectives.
The following action steps have been implemented, by the LAWC cluster, to address this recommendation. Establishment of regular meetings:
Weekly meetings are scheduled where managers from different streams/clusters share updates, insights, and discuss potential areas for collaboration, ensuring alignment of objectives and strategies.
Creation of a collaborative platform: The LAWC cluster has established a centralized platform via MS Teams, designed to serve as a conduit for seamless information exchange and discussions among the various streams/clusters, enhancing transparency and granting easy access to pertinent information and updates.
Development of joint activities: Based on discussions joint activities will be implemented that that leverage the synergies between different clusters.
The LAWC cluster is committed to achieving our overarching goals and furthering our mission to address and alleviate labour-related concerns.
