- comments:
- The Office will actively seek inputs from ACTRAV and ACT/EMP in drafting the ILO’s new Disability Inclusion Strategy (2024-2027), with a view to increasing involvement of the ILO’s tripartite constituents in its disability inclusion work. Inputs from this process will inform regional applications of the new Strategy, in partnership with ILO Regional Offices, to increase engagement with tripartite constituents at the country level.

- title:
- 1. A stronger focus on engaging the tripartite constituents and introducing disability inclusion into social dialogue should be included in the next phase of the strategy. The current phase has focused mainly on internal activities. There is evidence of greater interest from the tripartite constituents at the national level in disability inclusion and thus there should be a stronger focus on the engagement of the constituents in the next strategy, particularly in terms of projects and programmes in the field. This would require support from Regional and Country Offices, and regional-level application of the Strategy and the UNDIS.
