- The implementation of the project has been progressing well and delivered important milestones across different workstreams. For example, since the publication of the evaluation report, recent important work included
Informing the integration of just transition and decent work considerations climate processes and policies through 1. the development and dissemination of case studies on just transition in Nationally Determined Contributions to the Paris Agreement (NDCs), and other climate plans, 2. the facilitation of session at the First Dialogue of the UNFCCCC Just Transition Work Programme in the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies Bonn Session and 3. a seminar with the NDC Partnership and the World Resource Institute on just transition and NDCs.
The finalisation of an ILO-wide coordinated approach and intervention model of technical assistance on the inclusion of just transition and decent work in countries’ NDCs, with collaboration across the Office, including with units and departments such as Enterprises, GEDI, DIALOGUE, Employment (EMPLAB; SKILLS, DEVINVEST),Social protection, the Bureaux of Workers’ and Employers’ Activities. Support at country level is in its inception phase

The completion of a set of case studies on just transition strategies, plans and frameworks to be rolled out as part of the capacity building offer on coherent policy assistance for a just transition
- action_plan:
- The Office-wide strategy and Action plan was endorsed by the Governing Body ad a two-year implementation plan has been agreed, which allowed the finalisation of planning of Sida Partnership resources into ensure alignment with priorities. Uncertainties regarding organisational and staffing that arrangements have been addressed. These developments permit to address the financial delivery point raised by the evaluation report.
In Colombia the project is fostering the adaptation and dissemination of the work done so far to inform policies and programs, leveraging synergies with other projects, particularly the IKI JET project. Roll out of collaborative efforts with other components are being designed, particularly with GEDI, SCI and the A/P CRISIS
Resource mobilisation efforts are being scaled up through support for the development of concept notes and intervention models in areas in including just energy transition, climate change adaptation and decent work, finance for a just transition, integration of just transition in climate plans. Such support also include assistance to field offices in addition to collaboration across different policy departments.

- Recommendation 4: JTES should accelerate the execution of the programme. JTES should address the low delivery rate while continuing to execute its initial workplan, which intended to focus on the development of global policy and technical tools during the first phase of the programme and move to country implementations during the second phase. In Colombia, JTES should consider consolidating and broad banding the work done during the first phase. JTES could consider identifying additional countries for joint work with other components, such as on gender and just transition. Capacities committed to the JTES Action Programme should be explored beyond the support provided by Sida to ensure institutional sustainability.
